These terms cover the whole of anppeptide.com. By reading the site you accept them. They exist because a personal notes archive about a hormone can easily be mistaken for something else, and I would rather say clearly what this site is and is not than leave that open to guesswork.
In short: anppeptide.com is a personal educational site. It is not a clinical service, a clinic, or a peptide vendor, and it is not a substitute for professional assessment. Everything published here is for educational study only.
Educational Use Only
Every page on this site exists for study. I summarize published research on atrial natriuretic peptide so that I and any other interested reader can follow the physiology without reading several hundred papers first. The writing is aimed at people who want to understand a mechanism, not at people looking for something to do with that mechanism.
The notes are deliberately incomplete. I record what I have read so far, and I leave gaps where the literature itself is thin or contested. A summary written to be useful to a student will look different from one written to persuade, and this is the first kind.
Not a Substitute for Professional Assessment
Nothing published here should be read as guidance for a person or an animal. I am a self-taught reader of biology literature with no licence, no clinic and no patients, and I cannot assess an individual situation, a history or a set of symptoms. Reading a page about natriuretic peptide physiology tells you about the hormone, not about you.

Changes and Corrections
Pages here are revised without notice as my reading advances. A note that looks settled today may be rewritten next month if a paper changes my mind, and older summaries are updated in place rather than archived, so treat any page as a snapshot of my current understanding rather than a fixed statement.
